Aims & Scope
The Journal of Peace and Conflict Research (JPCR) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by the Copperbelt University. It publishes original research articles, reviews, case studies, and policy analyses that advance knowledge in the interdisciplinary fields of peace, conflict, and security studies.
The journal welcomes submissions in areas including, but not limited to:
- Peace studies and peacebuilding
- Conflict analysis, transformation, and resolution
- Security studies and human security
- Governance, democracy, and the rule of law
- Human rights, justice, and reconciliation
- Development, environment, and resource conflicts
- Gender, peace, and society
- Regional integration and international relations
JPCR draws on the expertise of the Dag Hammarskjöld Institute for Peace Studies and related units of the Copperbelt University, and aims to promote scholarship and dialogue that support peace, stability, and sustainable development in Zambia, the region, and beyond.
