Data Sharing Policy

JPCR encourages authors to make the data underlying their published findings available to the scientific community, in order to promote transparency, reproducibility and the reuse of research.

Where possible, authors are encouraged to deposit their datasets in a recognised public repository and to include a Data Availability Statement in their manuscript indicating where, and under what conditions, the data can be accessed. Where data cannot be shared openly (for example, for reasons of confidentiality, ethics or legal restriction), this should be stated together with the conditions for access.

Authors must ensure that any data sharing complies with ethical approvals, participant consent and applicable data-protection requirements.
