Correction & Retraction

JPCR is committed to maintaining the integrity of the scholarly record. When errors or ethical problems are identified in a published article, the journal takes appropriate action in accordance with COPE guidelines.

• Correction (Erratum / Corrigendum) – issued to correct significant errors that affect the record or interpretation of the article but do not invalidate its overall findings.
• Retraction – issued where the findings are unreliable owing to major error or research/publication misconduct such as data fabrication, plagiarism or redundant publication.
• Expression of Concern – issued where there is well-founded concern about an article that remains under investigation.

Corrections and retractions are linked to the original article, clearly labelled and freely available. The original article is retained in order to preserve the scholarly record.
