Appeals & Complaints
Authors who believe that their manuscript has been rejected in error, or who wish to appeal an editorial decision, may submit a written appeal to the Editor-in-Chief. The appeal should address, clearly and respectfully, the specific points raised by the reviewers and the editor, providing a point-by-point response.
Appeals are considered by the Editor-in-Chief, who may consult members of the Editorial Board or seek additional reviews. The decision reached on an appeal is final.
Complaints about any aspect of the journal's processes, ethics or conduct should also be addressed to the Editor-in-Chief and will be handled promptly, confidentially and in line with COPE guidance. Contact details are provided on the journal's Contact page.
