Authors retain the copyright of their work published in MBJ. All articles are distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) licence.

This licence permits any user to share (copy and redistribute in any medium or format) and adapt (remix, transform and build upon) the material for any purpose, including commercially, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original authors and source, a link to the licence is provided, and any changes are indicated.

Upon acceptance, the corresponding author (on behalf of all co-authors) is required to complete the journal's Copyright Agreement Form, confirming the originality of the work, the contributions of all authors, and the grant of first-publication rights to the journal.
