About the Journal
The Medical and Biomedical Journal (MBJ) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by the Copperbelt University through the Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor – Research and Innovation. The journal disseminates original research, reviews, and case studies across the biomedical sciences, life sciences, and medicine.
MBJ covers topics such as surgery, HIV and AIDS, public health, obstetrics and gynaecology, child health, pathology, epidemiology, anatomy and physiology, microbiology, and parasitology, among other fields. It draws on the expertise of the Schools of Medicine, Mathematics and Natural Sciences, and Natural Resources.
All articles are published under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) licence, and there are no submission or publication charges. The journal publishes four issues per year.
